KIDDERMINSTER’S Mayor officially opened a new car damage repair centre in the town.
The ChipsAway CarCare Centre covers 3,250 sq ft at Kidderminster Trade Park, Greenhill Industrial Estate, Birmingham Road.
Kidderminster Harriers senior therapist Gavin Crowe was among the first customers of the centre during the opening event, having a deep scratch on his car repaired.
The Mayor, who cut both the ribbon and a celebratory cake to launch the new venture, said she was “delighted” the company was enjoying sustained growth.
ChipsAway chief executive Lloyd Evans said: “The event attracted a steady stream of new customers and our warm thanks go to the Mayor, Anne Hingley, who clearly took a lively interest in our new project and to Gavin Crowe - our latest fan.”
