On Sunday, September 15 the latest 'Walkpast' will take place in Bromsgrove between 2-5pm.

Worcestershire County Council is inviting local people and residents to take part in the popular history and archaeology walking tour, which this time is in Bromsgrove town centre, and will be around three miles in length.

Walkpast is a popular series of walks organised by the council's Archive & Archaeology Service. It gives people the chance to find out more about a local area from an archaeological perspective and historic point of view.

Adam Mindykowski, archaeologist, said: "Bromsgrove has a fascinating history, and on this walk we hope to point out what the archaeology tells us about the history of the town."

The Walkpast series has been taking place for 25 years and is very popular. As places are limited, booking a ticket is essential.

Tickets cost £6 each and for more information or booking contact the Hive Admin Team on 01905 765576, email hiveadminteam@Worcestershire.gov.uk or visit and explore the Past desk on level 2 in The Hive.
