I AGREE with Councillor Marcus Hart that the first impressions of our towns are important and that the planting of wild flowers is a good idea on our traffic islands,.
They look nice and need little weeding with just the lawn mower run around the edges now and again.
The traffic island at Blackstone, Bewdley, has had the same treatment, the lawnmower has been run around the edges of the island to aid visibility for motorists but the centre is covered with weeds!
