ON Monday 20th July, I had cause to be grateful in the extreme to a member of the paramedic team that operated in the Wyre Forest area, an ambulance crew, who operated from the Bromsgrove station and three members of the [volunteer] Bewdley fire service.
I had a fall in the Wyre Forest whilst walking the family dog and the services were called..
The first response was the paramedic had the challenge of how best to remove me from my predicament whilst contacting an ambulance.
On the arrival of the ambulance crew, they immediately further attended to my medical needs, and along with the paramedic decided the way out was with the assistance of the fire service. They in turn arrived in the Land Rover and with their help and the aid of personal friend, I was carried to a safe place and transported to the main Worcester Hospital.Thank you guys and girls.
