I consider myself a member of the silent majority in favour of a new superstore.
Having shopped locally for years - butchers, pet shop, greens - I then proceed to Kidderminster to do my main shopping in order to gain access to the stores' full range of foodstuffs and look forward to the day when my grocery needs can be wholly inclusive in Stourport.
As for the alleged problem of excess traffic, I would have thought that without the store and car park taking up ground space, there would be more houses built on the site, resulting in more traffic anyway.
