I was very pleased to see that Wyre Forest District Council had done a U-turn on the lowering of the floodlights at Bewdley Town FC.
The case officer Mr Baggott agreed with my Letters Page comments in June which said that the Local Plan allowed a development in an area of great landscape value if it was necessary to meet community needs. Which indeed it did.
Well done Bewdley Town and good luck for the future.
