WYRE Forest care home residents had a spook-tacular time at their Halloween parties.

Staff and residents at Ravenhurst Residential Care Home in Stourport and Summerdyne Nursing Home in Bewdley got into the Halloween spirit by wearing fancy dress for the day.

Summerdyne residents helped to carve pumpkins while Ravenhurst were entertained by magician Ronnie Popple.

Stourport residents were also visited by pupils at Lickhill Primary School who went to the home to show off their costumes and take part in some trick or treating.

Ravenhurst activities leader Carla Siwicki said: “Themed events like Halloween are always a huge hit with our residents, team and local community and a great opportunity for all the generations to get together for good knees up.

“We have had great fun preparing for this event, putting together costumes and decorations and getting sweets and treats ready for the youngsters. Our residents had a brilliant time watching Ronnie the magician and great fun was had by all.”
