WYRE FOREST based hospice, KEMP is holding a display of remembrance for lost loved ones at their garden in Brinton Park in Kidderminster.

The presentation, running from August 21 to 29, will be full of handcrafted metal forget-me-not flowers.

The flowers, created at the British Iron Works, will be available to purchase, with all money supporting the vital hospice.

Head of fundraising and communications, Charlie Homer said: "We are thrilled to be creating our forget-me-not garden this summer.

"As The Wyre Forest Hospice, we want this to be a focal point for the community to come together in remembrance and celebration of loved ones who may no longer be with us.

"Whether you’ve received support from KEMP Hospice or not, we’re inviting everyone to secure a flower and be a part of something very special for the community this summer.”

The purchased forget-me-not flowers will remain on public display in the garden, which is sponsored by The Wharf Care Home until August 29 - after that date, the flowers will be keepsakes for the individual.
