Disability Action Wyre Forest is very concerned with the proposal by Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust to axe free parking for Blue badge users at its Kidderminster, Redditch & Worcestershire Royal hospital sites.

There has been NO consultation with disabled peoples’ organisations.

Disability Action Wyre Forest has written a letter to the Acting Chief Executive Dr Mark Goldman asking for the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust impact assessment on the proposal.

Disability Action Wyre Forest has also emailed a letter to every Worcestershire County Councillor & a hard copy to Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust board members.

Disability Action Wyre Forest has also been raising this with Worcestershire media and beyond.

Disability Action Wyre Forest would like to ask you to raise this issue within your organisation and the effect it will have on your users?
