KEMP Hospice invites you to join them for a relaxing country walk along the River Severn from Bewdley to Highley on Sunday 15th September.

Walkers will meet at the Severn Valley Railway Station in Bewdley at 9.00am before following the River Severn north through the beautiful Worcestershire and Shropshire countryside to Highley, where they will be rewarded with a lovely hot cup of tea or coffee and piece of cake, or a refreshing fruit salad, before finally boarding the steam train for their return journey back to Bewdley.

Based in the heart of the Wyre Forest, KEMP Hospice provides indispensable specialist care and support to patients, families and carers who are dealing with life limiting illness and bereavement.

KEMP Hospice events fundraiser, Kate Wilkinson, said: “This is a fabulous opportunity for individuals or families to join us for a lovely Sunday morning walk, through picturesque villages, meeting friendly people and then a fantastic return journey on the Severn Valley Railway back to Bewdley.

“By joining us and taking part you will be helping raise essential funds to support the vital work of KEMP Hospice and their work within the community delivering the end of life care we have come to rely on.”

Please help KEMP to continue to make a positive difference to people in the Wyre Forest and surrounding areas. You can register by calling 01562 756066, or by completing their on-line form at www.kemphospice.org.uk or by emailing the fundraising team on: fundraising@kemphospice.org.uk
