Congratulations to Mr Kehoe, who won first prize in the KEMP Hospice Summer Raffle this year.
Mr Kehoe was surprised and shocked to receive a phone call from the Hospice, as Julie (fundraising team) explains, “At first Mr Kehoe thought it might be a joke as he couldn’t remember buying a raffle ticket! He later mentioned the phone call to his Grandma and she explained she had purchased a raffle ticket for each of the family as a surprise gift.”
The first prize was £1000 of holiday vouchers and lucky, Mr Kehoe is still deciding on a holiday destination and is very grateful to his Grandma for her thoughtful present! Well done to the runner’s up, M. Webster and C. Dawson The Hospice would like to thank everyone who took part in the Summer draw and helped to raise more than £6400 for the vital work that goes on in the Wyre Forest community. Julie stated, “This is enough to pay for 58 nights (8 weeks) of Hospice at Home care, providing care and support to patients in the comfort of their own home.”
