Kidderminster & district scouting is set to take Aggborough by storm this Saturday when over 250 Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, leaders, group supporters and parents etc attend a district scouting day at Kidderminster Harriers Football Club.
The event now in its 3rd season will this year see 2 specially selected matches attended.
The club has been kind enough to allow scouting to supply 3 mascots in the form of a Beaver, a Cub and a Scout. The 3 chosen will lead Harriers out today not only proudly wearing the Harriers kit but their group neckerchief as well. In addition to this some of the youngsters will be entertaining the crowd at half time.
Group Scout Leader Mark Searl has co ordinated the groups and commented “ We’re pleased with the uptake from the youngsters and adults in our movement and will be hopefully cheering the Harriers to more 3 points on there push up the Blue Square premier table. District scouting and the Harriers both play very important roles in the community and we often join forces for each others benefit as well as the local community’s”.
