This year Kidderminster entered six teams from three Troops into the Operation Bald Eagle 2011 challenge. A weekend of challenges consisting of a Friday Night challenge based in their Troops; The Saturday day time challenge based throughout the camping ground campus; finally the main event, the night hike challenge, which is an incident night hike over and around Bredon Hill near Evesham, a distance of around 14km with twelve activity bases. The Scouts camping out in effectively green field conditions.
Around 340 Scouts were booked onto the even with a total of 67 teams taking part from the three counties of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.
Overall winners were "Babes and Boffins" from 1st St Michael's Scout Group in Stourport Our own Kidderminster Scouts did very well and took the following places overall: 12th Kidderminster Scout Group (Blakedown) 9th place Team "Alpha"
8th Kidderminster Scoup Group (St.John;s) 21st place Team "Random Guys"
12th Kidderminster Scout Group (Blakedown) 25th place Team "Bravo"
8th Kidderminster Scout Group (St.John's) 31st place Team "Stewed Stew"
7th Kidderminster Scout Group (Comberton & Offmore) 61st place Team "The Magnificent 7"
12th Kidderminster Scout Group (Blakedown) 63rd place Team "Charlie"
