Just over 120 Cub Scouts from all over Wyre Forest & Bromsgrove took part in the first Activate Scouting adventure on Saturday 22nd May.
Organised by the Activate team, activities for the Cubs started at 8 am in the morning and ran right through to 5 pm. Cub Scouts tried their hand at Kayaking and raft building at Top Barn near Worcester, along with a stint on the Climbing Tower, Archery, Fencing, Grass Sledging, Shooting, Crate Stacking and Mountain Biking at the District campsite at Rhydd Covert.
It was a scorching day packed full of fun. Event leader Daren Jackson was pleased that everybody enjoyed themselves and looks forward to making this an annual event.
