With the theft of our Scout trailer last month, the Leaders and young people at the Group have been overwhelmed by the generosity of local people in donating trailers, wood and money to the Group. A big thank you to Mr Newbury in Cookley and Mr Caunt in Lower Gornal for donating trailers. Kidderminster Timber donated a spectacular amount of wood that has enabled us to replace rotten doors and woodwork in order to make the site more secure. Lastly a big thank you for Danny Bailey, supervisor at Somerfield, in Bewdley for holding a Halloween event at the store for which they raised £175 pounds, we have invested in added security at the hut.
The Group continues to provide Scouting for youngsters around Comberton and Offmore.
