Representatives from Wolverley Scout Group (4th Kidderminster) including Scouts, Cubs and Beavers paraded at Wolverley Memorial Hall, joining the British Legion branch and members of other youth organisations in an act of remembrance before marching in the bright winter sunshine to St. John's Church in Wolverley for the Remembrance Day Service.
Doing His Best.
Joefish I-H from Blakedown Scout Group was unable to make the main Kidderminster parade, but he was able to visit his local memorial at Churchill with family and locals to lay remembrance wreaths and crosses. He did his best to honour all the servicemen and women who died in two world wars and more recent conflicts.
The 10th Kidderminster Cookley Scout Group attended the local Remembrance Parade and Church Service which is held in the evening. A parade followed by a Service at St Peter's Church. All sections were there with their flags. Beaver Scout Oliver Coley laid the wreath on behalf at the Group.
