Scouters from Wolverley Cookley and Blakedown took part in this year's Christmas supermarket bag packing.
This year's weather was a challenge for all concerned, but the show went on in the true spirit of scouting.
The money raised will assist the groups in their general scouting activities during the year.
Funds for some involved will go towards camps later this year, the world scout jamboree in Sweden and the District Cub camp in France.
District bag packing co ordinator Mark Searl wished to recognise the support offered by both Morrisons and Sainsbury’s and commentated “We have worked with these 2 stores locally now for many years and each year they accommodate scouting superbly”.
