BEWDLEY HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY: The annual show will be held on Saturday, August 20, in St George’s Hall, starting at 10.30am.
If last year’s show is anything to go by, there will be excellent displays of fruit, vegetables and flowers as well as domestic produce, art, craft and photography.
Anyone wishing to enter can obtain a schedule and entry form from 01299 400580.
Everyone is invited to come along and see what our local gardeners have grown, and as usual there will be an auction of produce at 3.15pm.
The next event on our calendar will be a talk on those perennial favourites, fuchsias, on Monday, September 19, 7.30pm at the Riverside Church, Dog Lane.
New members always welcome, as are visitors.
