BEWDLEY CIVIC SOCIETY: Over 90 people attended our annual afternoon lecture, which was a follow up talk on Stanley Baldwin, by society member John Chester. This was entitled "a reputation restored" and was made all the more interesting by John’s excellent delivery.
The next speaker is Derek Clarke, RIBA, on The Birmingham Back to Backs. Derek was Project Architect for their restoration, and has been involved in many other prestigious schemes, including rescuing the Perseus and Andromeda Fountain at Witley Court.
The meeting is on March 15 at 7.30pm, at St George’s Hall.
