AN ELDERLY woman who was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a head on collision in Blakedown has died.
Cadwalader Fleming passed away at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, December 30, after being taken there following a crash in Birmingham Road on December 10.
The 88-year-old, of Penn, in Wolverhampton, was trapped inside the car and had to be cut free by Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service.
An inquest into her death was opened today and has been listed for final hearing.
The medical causes of Cadwalader’s death, which will be confirmed during the inquest, have been listed as rib fractures, sternal fracture, lung contusion and a liver laceration.
