WI – Speaker Roy Albutt’s subject was the history of stained glass windows.
Arrangements were made for various activities including a jumble sale on March 21 at Callow Hill and a hygiene course in March.
At the end of January, ten members attended a course on dowsing at Denman College. Members have discussed ways of using the dowsing at the open day at Callow Hill on May 9. Plans were made for other activities including some cooking demonstrations, especially for children, and exhibitions of other crafts.
The next meeting at Far Forest Centre is on March 10 at 7.45pm when speaker Kim Hurst’s topic is ‘the true cottage garden’. Visitors welcome.
