Three sections – Holiday, Natural World, and Music and Poetry – were judged in the annual video competition at the last meeting.
The competitions were judged by audience appeal.
The winners were – Holiday section: Paul Bye with Two Lakes about a holiday in Italy; Natural World: John Bryan with investigating Iceland; Music & Poetry: Paul Bye’s Autumn Days.
Overall, there was a total of 12 entries. The meeting on Thursday, February 21, will feature two more sections of the annual competition – Documentary and Unclassified – to be judged.
The club meets at 7.30pm in St Ambrose’s Community Hall, Leswell Street, Kidderminster.
On Thursday, March 14, a special video of The Secret Life of the Sparrowhawk, with a commentary by Chris Packham, will be shown. Anyone interested in wild birds should not miss it. For more details, contact Bill Every on bde315@hotmail.co.uk.
