SOMERLEYTON WI – At the September meeting members reflected on several summer events. Secretary Linda Sprosen outlined forthcoming group and county events.
The speaker was Mr George Mills who gave an insight into the life and customs of the Romany community. His grandmother had a gift for curing illnesses with her natural potions. The competition for a peg doll was won by Denise Edwards.
The next meeting will be on October 14 at St Cecilia's Church Hall when the talk will be on Peruvian adventures and the competition will be a photograph of a mountain. Visitors welcome.
