George Hill spoke of his life as a gardener at the June meeting.
It proved most interesting and he also gave lots of tried and tested old tips.
Members planned several outings in June including trips to Hampton Court, Leominster, and a lunch at the Hundred House, Great Witley where the speaker was Donald Hunt OBE.
The outing to Glansevern Gardens, near Welshpool, in August is now fully booked.
Members were reminded that we were supporting the Worcester Breast Unit Appeal and to bring old or unwanted bras for recycling.
The next meeting will be on Monday, with speaker ES Noble talking about the lives of Edward and Mrs Simpson. New members and visitors are welcome.
