Improvements have been continuing at the centre.
The Alice Room has just had its carpet and curtains replaced.
The centre hosts computer training on Friday mornings. If you are interested in starting at the beginning to learn the computer, please ring either the centre on 01299 823240 or Ann Hill 01299 824941 The centre also offers a range of activities.
There is coffee and biscuits for 50p in the morning, and lunch time offers a two-course meal is served at £3.50 from 12.15pm.
In the afternoon, the host and hostesses organise various activities such as crafts, arm chair exercises, whist, bridge, or a film show.
In the evenings, many groups such as the Civic Society, Floral Art, Odd Fellows, and Tai Chi use the centre for their meetings. New members will be made welcome.
