STOURPORT FLORAL ART: The club began 2017 with the Annual General Meeting followed by the auction of items donated by members towards club funds and this year’s charity
Di Crump stepped down as Chairman and Joan Kinsella accepted the position.
Brigette Manton was the first demonstrator of 2017 on February 27 and she gave a beautiful evening entertainment with gorgeous flowers and foliage arranged with mechanics mostly of her own making.
She congratulated the members who had entered the competition with lovely spring flowers, and encouraged more to enter for the experience and enjoyment.
Joan thanked Brigette and Marguerite gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the audience for her arrangements and informative chatter, and then her arrangements were raffled and won by delighted members and visitors
Sandra Channer is the demonstrator on March 27and her title “Magic Moments” promises a grand evenings demonstration.
Members competition title is “My Hbby” to be named and we continue with the flower of the month.
Meetings are held at the Elizabeth Mills Social Centre, New Street 7.30pm
