Members were saddened to hear of the death of Vera Maughan aged 98. President Margaret Mills reported that the Annual Council Meeting in March 2010 will be incorporating the craft rally. The autumn area meeting is at Abberley on Tuesday and the group meeting is at Habberley.
Speaker Jill Gray talked about her training and work in design, sewing and painting.
Competition winners for ‘I made it’ were: first Muriel Owen, second Joan Docherty and third Lesley Grant.
The AGM followed by a ploughmans’ supper will be on Monday, November 2 at The Oaks Community Hall, Mustow Green at 7.30pm. Visitors welcome, for information call secretary Sue Potter on 01562 630015.
