Pat and Roger Bourne kindly hosted the August 2 meeting at their home.
A tasty ploughman’s supper was provided by members of the committee, followed by delicious fruit flans which were enjoyed in the garden.
Scrap books featuring anniversaries, craft shows, and outings were later passed around, with much reminiscing.
Pat is a clever exponent of cold porcelain and her floral art was greatly admired.
Muriel Owen thanked Pat and Roger and also the committee for a delightful evening, and Pat invited everyone to come again next year.
The next meeting will be held on Monday, September 6 when Helen Heeley will be giving a flower demonstration.
The competition is for `A flower arrangement in a cup and saucer`.
Meetings are held monthly at The Oaks Community Hall, Mustow Green at 7.30pm.
