STOURPORT MITTON WI: At their monthly meeting, held on February 16, members welcomed Alison from Bewdley Willow. Alison brought along some of the intricate and wonderful willow sculptures that she had created and then showed members how to create a willow wreath. Feeling inspired and with gloves at the ready members created their own natural masterpiece.

In addition, to contribute to the WI 'Show the Love' ‘campaign and highlight climate change, Alison kindly showed us how to make a willow heart; the perfect natural, green show of love and nature.

The WI meets on the third Thursday of the month at 7.30pm in the St Michael's and All Angels Church Hall, Stourport and new members and visitors are always welcome. To find out more visit Facebook page 'Thoroughly Modern Mitton WI' or email mittonwi@outlook.com.

The next meeting is on March 16 at 7.30pm when we hear from the Severn Area Rescue Association and the important work they do in the local area.
