VISITORS will be saddling up for the 10th annual Trimpley Heavy Horse Show on Sunday.

Mike Clarke and his family are again hosting the event at Holbeache Farm in Trimpley to bring awareness of the Suffolk Punch Heavy Horse to the general public.

The horses are on the rare breeds list and are even rarer than the Chinese Panda.

Mike and his daughter Alison have been dedicated to bringing awareness of the breed by setting up their own Stud Farm at Trimpley.

They now have a large collection of about 50 Suffolk Punch Heavy Horses and continue to try and keep this rare breed alive.

This year they have been successful in breeding six foals.

On Sunday, visitors can visit the farm to see the horse working in the fields, parading in the main arena and see the new foals.

There will also be tractor and trailer rides, horse and cart rides, donkey rides, bouncy castles, a small fun fair, trade stands, refreshments, a companion dog show, car boot and art exhibitions.

The show will take place between 10.30am and 4.30pm.
