James Bond returned to cinema screens this week, and with it brings the return of Bond’s classic ‘shaken not stirred’ Martini.

But Lidl have done some research and have revealed what the true cost of Bond’s bar bill is and put together a recipe using their own ingredients that could save him a small fortune.

Results showed that across Bond’s on-screen life he has indulged in 28 martinis, costing around £504. Yet, if he switched to home made martinis from Lidl, he would save hundreds of pounds.

Make your own 007 martini

Lidl have put together a list of ingredients so you can make your own 007 martini this weekend, but for a fraction of the price.

Premium Ignis French Grain Vodka (40% ABV) is only £14.99 for a 70cl bottle. Distilled and bottled in France, this vodka is definitely up to Bond standards.

Pair it with Romanetti Vermouth Bianco (14.5 ABV) for just £5.75 and you have your Bond Martini, for a fraction of the price!

No Time To Die

No Time To Die takes place after Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica when his old friend Felix Leiter, played by Jeffrey Wright, from the CIA turns up asking for help.

A mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading to a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Craig is joined by the likes of Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Rami Malek and Lashana Lynch.

James Bond No Time To Die is in cinemas now.
