M&S shoppers can now save 20% on wine and Champagne with a new loyalty offer that could make a big difference to the cost of stocking up for Christmas.
The retailer has launched its new Sparks Wine Saver, giving members 20% off when they buy four or more eligible bottles in one transaction.
The offer is available all year round rather than just during the festive period, and shoppers can mix and match bottles from across the M&S wine range.
That includes everything from everyday favourites and alcohol-free alternatives to Champagne, sparkling wine, mulled wine and bottles for a Christmas dinner or party.
See the full range here.
The new reward replaces M&S's previous 10% wine offer, doubling the discount for customers buying four or more bottles.
How to get 20% off M&S wine
The Sparks Wine Saver is available to members, who simply need to scan their Sparks card at the till when buying four or more eligible bottles.
The discount will then be applied automatically.
Sparks membership is free and shoppers can sign up through the M&S app or online before visiting a store.
The savings can add up quickly. For example, buying four bottles that would normally cost £25 each would mean paying £80 instead of £100 – a saving of £20.
M&S says the offer is particularly well timed for Christmas, with its research finding that 39% of Brits consider taking a bottle as a gift one of their festive traditions.
However, more than a quarter (26%) admitted to buying one at the last minute on the way to a party.

M&S launches new £40 Champagne range
There is also a new premium Champagne range on the way, with M&S launching L’Eternelle later this month.
It is the retailer's first new Champagne brand in eight years and its most premium Champagne range yet.
The collection features three bottles, each made using a 'perpetual reserve' blending method, which combines wines from previous harvests to create a richer, more complex flavour.
The range arrives in stores and online on Wednesday, November 18.
The three bottles are:
- Champagne L’Eternelle Blanc de Noirs – £40, reduced to £32 when buying four or more.
- Champagne L’Eternelle Rosé Brut Nature – £40, reduced to £32 when buying four or more.
- Champagne L’Eternelle Vintage 2015 – £45, reduced to £36 when buying four or more.
The new range gives shoppers another option for a special occasion, with the Sparks discount also applying when buying four or more eligible bottles.
