SINGERS from Kidderminster joined members of Rock Choir from throughout Bromsgrove, Redditch and Stourbridge to entertain crowds at the Kidderminster Arts Festival.
The choir members were invited back to perform at the festival on Saturday, August 8, and belted out classics such as ELO’s ‘Mr Blue Sky’ and ‘Walking on Broken Glass’ by Annie Lennox.
Rock Choir leader, Christa Hugo, who runs the choir in Kidderminster, as well as other branches, said: “It was a fantastic day and the members sounded really great and you could see how much they lifted the crowd.”
Rock Choir is the UK’s largest contemporary choir, with nearly 17,000 members in more than 300 local communities.
Members get together weekly to attend fun, friendly rehearsals where they are taught specially arranged pop, rock and chart songs.
