A KIDDERMINSTER care home raised hundreds of pounds when it held its annual summer fete.
The Shrubbery, in Birmingham Road, held a fun day, with a ‘Roaring 20s’ theme that saw around 100 people turn out.
Entertainment was provided by 1920s singers and a rock n’ roll puppet show while there were also stalls and a raffle.
Shrubbery Events co-ordinator Danielle Dunn said: “The day was wonderful and it was lovely to see people from other nursing homes come and support our fete.
“We had around a hundred turn up and raised just over £300. The entertainment was great and we all enjoyed Pimms and lemonade and a BBQ.
“I would like to thank the home’s owners Roger Ephraims and his wife Margaret for their support to the fete and all the local community stores for donating fantastic prizes.”
