POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a cash box was stolen from a Co-op car wash in Cleobury Mortimer.
The cash box was last seen by workers on the evening of Thursday, January 19 and the theft was reported to West Mercia Police the following day.
Police have confirmed that officers are currently following several lines of enquiry.
A spokesman for the force said: "If you have been in the area recently and witnessed any suspicious activity, please call 101 and refer to police incident 0122S 200117.
If you want to contact the Safer Neighbourhood Team by email, you can use ch.snt@westmercia.pnn.police.uk, but be aware that this email address should not be used to report an incident that requires an urgent police answer, as it is not monitored 24 hours a day."
