A BOY was taken to hospital with injuries to his head, face and leg after being hit by a car near King Charles I School this morning (February 24).
West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Mercia Police were called to Comberton Road at around 11.50am on Friday morning (February 24) following a crash between a pedestrian and a car.
A spokesman from WMAS said: "The boy was treated for head, face and leg injuries.
"He was immobilised and given pain relief, before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
"The crash was between a pedestrian and a car.
"He was fully conscious but he may have had a reduced level of consciousness."
A spokesman from West Mercia Police said: "A boy was reportedly hit by a car and suffered head injuries.
"The boy was conscious."
An ambulance and and a paramedic support officer were at the scene.
