TOILETS in a popular Kidderminster park are being refurbished in time for the summer holidays.
Both the male and female toilets in Brinton Park closed on Monday, June 14, for two weeks while improvement works are carried out by Wyre Forest District Council.
Temporary portable toilets will be available for park users while the work is carried out.
Councillor Rebecca Vale, cabinet member for operational services, said: "The work will make sure the toilets are in tip top condition ready for the summer holidays,
"The park welcomes visitors throughout the year, but is particularly popular with families during the school holidays."
The improvement works include installing new toilets, repainting cubicle doors and vanity units, re-grouting wall and floor tiling, installing new lighting and conducting a full deep clean on completion.
