SANTA will be paying a special extended visit to Hagley next week when the village switches its Christmas lights on.

The festive figure, on his sleigh, will be towed all around the village by the Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA) – from 3pm on Friday November 24 (see route below) until around 5pm when he will arrive in the village centre in Worcester Road.

Kidderminster Shuttle:

Members of the Blackwell Concert Band will performing at the event – which runs from 5pm to 8pm - while youngsters from Hagley Primary School will be singing around the Christmas tree.

There will also be plenty of seasonal food and drinks available and a children’s competition – and the lights will be switched on by cllr Steve Colella at 7pm.

The Friends of Hagley Free Church will also be presenting An Unexpected Christmas, with ticket-only shows starting at 6.15pm and 7.30pm.
