A MAN was punched during an armed robbery in Barnt Green.

The incident happened at around 9.10am on Monday, November 5 at a licensed premises on Kendal End Road.

Three men are reported to have entered the rear of the premises with two thought to have pointed a weapon - believed to be a knife - at a member of staff before demanding money from the safe.

A quantity of cash was removed while a large tan brown leather Michael Kors handbag with gold zips, a navy blue Cath Kidston purse with ivory coloured sausage dogs on, and a gold iPhone 8+ were also taken.

One of the men is understood to have punched a member of staff before the men headed towards the car park where a fourth man is believed to have been waiting in a grey Ford Focus ST.

The car then left in the direction of Cofton Hackett.

The first man is described as white and wearing all black clothing, including black trainers and a black balaclava.

The second man was thought to be white, wearing a navy quilted type jacket with a grey/white trim around the hood and cuffs and a white logo on the left upper arm, dark trousers and black trainers with a white sole. He also had a black scarf covering the lower part of his face.

The third man was believed to be dressed in black clothing including a black bobble hat pulled completely over his face, grey/white trainers with a black trim.

Enquiries are currently ongoing and officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or who has information that could assist with our investigation.
