A FUNDRAISER has raised vital cash for not one, but two good causes in Alcester.
Hillers Farm Shop recently hosted a prize-giving raffle with funds going toward Alcester Dementia Care and a food bank in nearby Shipston.
A silent auction was also held and a raffle with prizes including a £75 hamper and vouchers from the shop.
£817 was raised in total with £500 donated to Alcester Dementia Cafe and £316 to the food bank.
Organiser Harry Dyke said: "It was a group effort really, I must thank my father for giving us the idea of raising vital funds for those that need it most."
He added: "Alcester has an amazing, wonderful and valuable facility in their midst and I would urge anyone who would like to become a volunteer during the festive period to contact Eileen and her magnificent team at Alcester Dementia Cafe."
Eileen Barnes, chairman of Alcester Dementia Cafe thanked all who took part.
