This astonishing picture shows how close shoppers came to injury when a car smashed into the doors of a shop in Hereford.
The car careered into entrance/exit doors of the Range home-and-leisure store in Three Elms Road during the busy Saturday afternoon trading period when people were moving in and out.
Glass was shattered and the metal frames of glazing were twisted by the collision.
The car avoided a number of signs standing immediately in front of the shop's doors.
Police said the male driver was not seriously injured, but was taken to hospital afterwards. No one else was hurt.
- We will try to get more details as soon as possible.
