A BROMSGROVE veterinary practice is being expanded to include a cat-only consultation room.
Work on an extension to the Clent Hills Vets practice on Kidderminster Road began at the start of January.
A spokesman said: "This will create a larger, more comfortable waiting area as well as two extra consultation rooms.
"The practice will also be trialling a cat-only consultation room which will be beneficial to both cats and dogs, with a welcomed greater degree of separation."
Access to the outside Memorial Pathway and Garden is closed during the building process.
It will re-open again upon completion of the extension - which is scheduled for the end of April.
Practice manager Rebekka Fiorani added: “Following a recruitment drive in 2018 our team has been significantly increased. With a larger team and more pets to care for comes the need for more space."
