TODAY'S picture comes from August 1987 when crowds lined the streets of Worcester to watch the cycling stars of the day sweep through on one of the toughest legs of that year's Tour of Britain. The picture shows the 100-strong peloton, containing the cream of the world's professional cycle racers passing through Powick after it had set off from Barbourne, down Castle Street, crossing the Severn bridge as it headed towards Malvern
