THESE dramatic pictures show the storm clouds gathering as Storm Miguel passed through the county.

Jan Sedlacek captured some of the pictures from his vantage point on the top of the Malvern Hills.

Readers also sent in their fantastic images of the unusual cloud formations on display in the county's skies on Friday and Saturday.

Dave Throup, Environment Agency manager, confirmed that at one point shelf clouds, a low, horizontal, wedge-shaped arcus cloud, were being spotted in the skies.

The storm hit the county on Friday, bringing with it strong wind and rain, which brought down trees in some places.
