WORCESTER'S mayor Allah Ditta joined young drama enthusiasts for a dance to boost their latest show.
Cllr Ditta danced with members of the Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society Youth Section (WODYS) in front of amused shoppers at the city's Crowngate arcade on Saturday.
The society is putting on Back To The 80s, a musical extravaganza of hits from that decade, starting on Tuesday, July 30, at the Swan Theatre.
Cllr Ditta, who danced with the youngsters to the tune Walking on Sunshine, originally by Katrina and the Waves, said he was sure the show would be a great success.
He said: "I have seen them rehearsing and they are so talented. The dedication they put into their shows is amazing."
