SHOPPERS in Stourbridge have been venting their frustration at finding the fridges bare in Tesco as a result of the high temperatures.
Supermarket shoppers reported having had a wasted journey to the store in the Crown Centre – having found the refrigerated food section empty.
Store bosses have blamed the hot weather and a Tesco spokesperson confirmed: “We have had a few problems with our refrigerators as a result of the high temperatures over the past few days. We have been working hard to get them back up and running. We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience this has caused.”
