MANAGER Ian King wants his side to build on their battling point against Banbury United.
Redditch United started the new Southern League Central campaign with a goalless stalemate at the Trico Stadium last Saturday.
The manager is keen for the Reds to take confidence from the draw as they head for two tough away trips.
United are due to face Rushall Olympic on Tuesday night before a trip to Needham Market this Saturday.
King said: "I'd have taken a point against Banbury and I think it was a fair result in the end.
"They are an experienced and established side at this level and taking a point gives us plenty to build on.
"I think they were the better side in the first half and had more possession but then I think we had the better of it in the second.
"On another day we could have got the win because we did have a few chances but couldn't unlock the door in the second half.
"I'm pleased with a point and pleased with the clean sheet. That will give us a bit more confidence.
"We're a new team and the boys are still gelling together. Rome wasn't built in a day but the pleasing thing for me is the way everyone is is listening and playing to instructions.
"We'll be looking to take something out of the next two games and they'll be two difficult tests for us."
King has no injury issues heading into the next two games.
