CLOSED: The bridge was due to be closed this morning
TODAY'S (November 4) scheduled closure of Worcester Bridge for debris removal work has been cancelled.
The bridge was due to be closed eastbound to allow teams to remove the large island of debris gathering at its base.
However, due to a change in the river level making the operation unsafe, the county council's highways department decided to cancel the closure and to "review in a few days time."
