This year sees Midlands country songwriter Pete Boddis celebrate sixty years in the business, a 75th birthday, and release of his new solo CD , And Our Love Will Exceed It All.
Even better, he'll be in the mood to celebrate at Worcester's Huntingdon Hall.
A spokesman said: "This special country music show will feature Pete, and his six-piece country band. The band comprises Maurice Hipkiss (steel guitar and fiddle), Ken Moore (harmonica and saxophone), Kevin Bettington (drums), Robin Johnson (bass), Pete Arrowsmith (lead guitar) and Marilyn Bose (vocals).
"Hosted by promoter John Banner, Pete has also invited along international acoustic country duo Chuck Micallef and Dave Luke, plus the globe-trotting ‘Ukulele Lady’ Gabriela La Foley for a wonderful evening of country music entertainment. Prepare to hear lots of your favourites and some new original songs!"
The date for the diary is Saturday, December 7.
