THE trial of brothers accused of an affray in Worcester remains on course.
Brothers Carl Francis, 46, with a care of address of Crickley Drive, Worcester and Rudy Francis, 40, of Painswick Close, Worcester appeared at the city's crown court for a pre-trial review on Monday.
Both men deny a single count of affray and are due to stand trial at Worcester Crown Court on or soon after December 9 this year.
The offences were said to have taken place on March 29 this year.
Ross Nelmes, aged 43, of Chedworth Drive, Warndon, Worcester had appeared at a previous hearing where he admitted affray and possession of an offensive weapon (the pickaxe).
Nelmes pleaded guilty to having the pickaxe in a public place, the city's Cranham Drive, 'without lawful authority or reasonable excuse.
Nelmes will be sentenced following the conclusion of the trial which is expected to last four days.
